Men....appappapp även vi svenskar har våra egenheter, låt mig punktera upp några av dom. (Hämtat från facebook)
Jag skriver på engelska så även ytlänningar can read it:
1. Nothing comes between fredagsmys with tacos and lördagsgodis. All Swedish people längtar the whole week, but no one will erkänna it.
Btw, do you know that the Svenskar eat Tacos the wrong way? The right way is to eat with both hårda and mjuka bread. The mjuka brödet shall you have outside the hard bread. So that the hard bread dont faller sönder. Did you know that? Not? We lärde oss in the United States of America. It´s very smart!
2. If someone ask you vill du ha sista biten? Then your only choice is to say Nej tack! Because if you take sista biten you have broken the unwritten Swedish rule.
The most common tårta in Sweden is Princesstårta. It´s a tårta with very much grädde wich is covered with green mandelmassa. It´s a rose on top and every one fight about having the ros.
3. This dish you probably will be bjuden på if you go to funeral or other similar tillställningar. Swedes called it SMÖRGÅSTÅRTA.
4. This decoration have probably the whole Swedish medborgare in their sommarstuga. And it´s often broken and werry dammig.
I have also one at home and my yngsta son said to me last Midsommar Mam, are you for real? Where have you köpt this? At the leksaksaffär or wath?
Well, if it is Midsommar you have to have a midsommarstång, dammig and broken or not.
5. Defined in Sweden "bara några droppar" is like half glas. So if you are served a dryck and says "bara några droppar", be prepared that några droppar is much more than just a few drops.
6. In Sweden we like tävlingar very much. Put on the TV and you will always find a tävling in your taste like Whole Sweden bakar, Swedish Mastercock (hahaha sorry), Swedish Farmers and On the rail.
7. If you have nothing to talk about you can always talk about vädret. Swedes loves to talk about väder.
8. In Sweden we love to take a fika. My husband is the king of fika. You often fika only with coffee.
Nothing wrong about a slät kopp kaffe.
9. In the winter Swedes, so to say; går i ide. Most people dont like the winter because of mörkret. We have mörker almost the whole day in the winter.
So when it becomes "vår" we like; yeyyy lightness, sunshine....and we all like cowes on grönbete.
